Why not just use the portals' own free alerts?
You can, and for a single-country business that's a reasonable choice — Find a Tender, Contracts Finder, TED, SAM.gov and CanadaBuys each have their own free saved-search alerts, and Stotles has a free UK tier. Those are all genuinely free options; we name them on each market guide. BidHeron's job is different: one inbox instead of five, notices ranked by fit instead of a raw keyword match, and coverage across all four markets at once.
Where the data comes from
Notices are pulled once a day from the UK's Find a Tender Service and Contracts Finder, the EU's TED, the US's SAM.gov, and Canada's CanadaBuys — each republished under its own open licence. See live ingestion status or a market guide for details and citations.

- How fresh is the data?
- Each source is re-fetched once a day. Category pages update hourly and the status page shows the last successful run per source.
- How do I cancel?
- Billing is handled by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Cancel or change your card any time from the billing portal linked in the app — no email required.
- What about refunds?
- Refund policy is pending board approval. Use the "Request refund" button on your billing page in the meantime and we'll respond by email.
- What do you store about me?
- Your email, your saved profile (keywords/markets), and — if you upgrade — billing identifiers from Dodo. We never see your card details. Full detail will be in the privacy policy.
